A little indoor play, then a little exploring—if your cat enjoys it. Here are two researched options for that routine. Our reel is an AI-generated illustration, not footage of product testing; the illustrated toy and vest may differ from the products below.

1. Indoor play: Da Bird feather wand

Use the wand to guide short, supervised play sessions. Put the wand, cord and feathers away afterward. Inspect for loose or damaged parts before play.

2. Outdoor option: a cat vest + leash

A cat-specific mesh vest with a matching leash and four size options. Choose by chest measurement, not breed or weight. Large may suit some Maine Coons; it is not a universal Maine Coon size.

Choose the fit, not just the size name

Measure around the chest behind the front legs. The manufacturer’s chart lists:

  • XS: 9.4–13.7 in / 24–35 cm
  • S: 13–17.7 in / 33–45 cm
  • M: 13.7–19.3 in / 35–49 cm
  • L: 15–21.8 in / 38–55.5 cm

These ranges overlap. Follow the manufacturer’s current fitting guidance for the exact version you order. If your cat is outside the chart or can back out during an indoor fit check, choose another option. Do not assume a small-dog harness will safely fit a cat.

Make it your cat’s kind of adventure
