For any connected device, the companion app is evaluated on reliability, ease of setup, notification quality, and long-term update history. A great device with a broken app fails.

We assess materials, ingress protection, cable quality, and how the product holds up after weeks of daily use. Pet products take abuse — they need to be built for it.
