Cat Trees & Scratching
32 inches tall. The scratching post cats actually use.
✦ Why we chose it
Most scratching posts fail because they're too short — cats can't fully extend. At 32 inches, the SmartCat is tall enough to satisfy the stretch-scratch instinct that drives furniture destruction.
The SmartCat Ultimate Scratching Post is 32 inches tall — tall enough for a cat to fully extend while scratching. Cats need to stretch fully while scratching to get the full benefit. The woven sisal surface is the texture cats prefer over carpet, and the heavy base prevents tipping. It is the most recommended scratching post by cat behaviorists.
